In order to live on to the Responsibility and strengthen the “human firewall” , Gladsaxe Municipality recognized a strategic need in order to raise thelevelof competence across the organization. THE CHALLENGE

The challenge was to find a solution that could be implemented effectively for such a large and diverse workforce without disrupting daily operations. The solution had to meet several key requirements:

  • Digital and flexible: The training had to be 100% digital (e-learning) so employees could take it whenever it fit into their busy schedule. This was essential to ensure a smooth rollout.
  • Technical integration: It was a key requirement that all training programs could be seamlessly integrated and run in Gladsaxe Municipality’s own learning management system (LMS).
  • Targeted content: A one-size-fits-all approach was not enough. The content needed to be relevant and recognizable to the many different professional groups in the municipality – from administrative staff to educators and social care assistants.

THE SOLUTION

The solution was a partnership that resulted in three targeted compliance courses: GDPR, IT security and Good Governance.

To ensure maximum relevance and ownership, the standard programs were not just delivered “as is”. Through a close dialog, the content was adjusted and tailored specifically for Gladsaxe Municipality. This customization included:

  • Branding: The programs were designed with the municipality’s visual identity so that employees encountered a recognizable and credible universe.
  • Relevance: Generic examples were replaced with concrete dilemmas and scenarios from everyday life in Gladsaxe Municipality. This ensured that the content felt relevant and relevant to the individual employee.

Gladsaxe Municipality now has a complete training package that meets the needs of the organization. In addition to the full e-learning programs, all content was also delivered as flexible micro-chapters.

This provides the municipality with an invaluable toolbox to retain learning and awareness over time. The individual micro-chapters can be used proactively in internal campaigns, on the intranet, or as just-in-time learning when specific topics are relevant. The solution ensures that the municipality can continuously maintain and strengthen correct behavior and a robust safety culture throughout the organization.
