Succeed with project management
A lot of studies has been done that shows why projects fail. This can be due to a variety of factors such as bad Project Management , poorly defined scope , lacking resources in the project, silos etc. All of which can be remedied by a skilled project manager.
More and more companies are starting to have a more project-oriented organization. Therefore, the course is aimed at both:
- You – as an employee stepping into the role of project manager.
- You – as a manager or employee – need to learn how to navigate a more agile and project-oriented workday.
We’ve put together a library of 7 modules that can be delivered as a single program or in smaller portions on an ongoing basis.
The course is structured as microlearning that continuously activates your employees and uses different tools. We customise the program, adjust the branding and change the examples to fix your organisation perfectly.
CONTENT
MODULE 1 - INTRODUCTION
Introduction to the concept of “project management” and a brief introduction to the modules covered in the program.
MODULE 2 - WHAT IS A PROJECT
Is it a project or “just” a task? In this module, Mads explains what defines a project – and how a project can evolve into a task in the long run.
MODULE 3 - GOVERNANCE
There are two important factors to keep in mind when organizing your projects, which we cover in the Governance module.
MODULE 4 - OUTCOME
What value should the project deliver? In this module, we review examples of what the outcome can be, as well as how it can best be measured.
MODULE 5 - SCOPE
What’s not in scope? Yes, it may seem backwards – but it’s often a good way to define the scope of the project – in this module we’ll take an in-depth look at defining project scope with the scope triangle.
MODULE 6 - MILESTONE
What are the sub-goals of the project? In this module, we take a closer look at why milestones are so important for the project and what happens between these milestones.
MODULE 7 - ACTION PLAN
Finally, we take a closer look at an action plan for the project. You have the option of downloading a template on an action plan that you can use for your own projects.
