A key challenge was translating complex principles such as <strong>participation, accountability, non-discrimination and transparency<\/strong> into situations where participants could actively engage with and apply them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the target audience was international and worked across different political, cultural and institutional contexts. The programme covered topics including participation, accountability, non-discrimination and transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A key approach was to make the cases and stories fictional while basing them on real-world issues and situations. We developed the fictional country of <strong>Rignovia<\/strong>, for example, where participants could explore realistic dilemmas without linking them to specific countries or actual events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case studies, participants took on different roles and were encouraged to actively engage with each situation and consider the perspectives of different stakeholders.
