MICRO LEARNING: STRESS AND WELL-BEING

Stress is a societal challenge which can have huge consequences for the individual employee as well as the entire organisation. Stress should always be prevented and handled in a systematic way. Even though stress appears in individuals it should always be combatted together as it often occurs between people and their surroundings.   AS3 – The 6 good reasons to work with you employees well-being:

If you are to create the most impact with your initiatives about creating well-being and preventing stress, all organizational levels must be considered. Everyone has a responsibility and a role, but the responsibility varies according to the position in the organisation. For example, if you work on creating “tough” employees, but the causes of dissatisfaction are related to structure, it will be like doing renovations at a house where the foundation is broken.

MODULE 1 - THE 6 WAYS TO WELL-BEING AT WORK

In this module you will learn 6 ways to create well-being at work. You will also gain an understanding of how to implement them in the day-to-day work. Studies has found that there is 6 important ways to create well-being at work:

  1. Influence
  2. Meaning
  3. Predictability
  4. Support
  5. Reward
  6. Demand

MODULE 2 - WELL-BEING IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

In this module you will learn more about IGLO:

  • Individual
  • Group
  • Leader
  • Organisation

Everybody has a responsibility when it comes to creating well-being and preventing stress in the workplace.

MODULE 3 - PREVENT STRESS

In this module you will learn to understand the balance between demands and resources. You will be able to better recognise the physical, physiological and behavioural symptoms of stress.

The program Stress & Well-Being is developed by AS3 who are leading within HR counselling. AS3 have been working on what makes a good mental working environment for the last 30 years. AS3 Stress & Well-being has an inspirational learning design and contain specific examples and exercises to ensure the learning objectives are met.
